01
Begin with the website job
Decide whether the site needs to explain one offer, support several service journeys or operate a store. Write down the content owner, the business action each page supports and the features that must work after launch.
Fimo describes a platform combining website editing, hosting and agents. Its own agent documentation describes runs that create branches for review. That is a workflow capability, not evidence that an unattended site will improve revenue.
02
Connect the project and protect production
Use a repository and accounts the business can control. Agree domain ownership, deployment access, backups, exports and how the site can be maintained if the team changes platforms.
Set up a preview workflow before accepting automated changes. Keep credentials out of prompts and public repositories. Confirm what the agent may read or edit, and review the proposed branch before allowing it into the production branch.
03
Give an SEO agent a narrow task
Ask for one testable change, such as fixing a broken internal link, making a title match the service, or checking sitemap coverage. Supply the intended URL, acceptance criteria and business facts that must remain accurate.
Check the result in the rendered page. A passing build does not verify a phone number, a commercial claim, an enquiry form or a sensible search intent. Scheduled runs still need an accountable owner and a review boundary.
04
Verify the launch path
Check status codes, mobile reading, headings, canonicals, indexability, sitemap entries and working contact actions. Keep one visible page purpose and a clear next step. Run an actual enquiry test and label it as a test in analytics.
Review content changes alongside code changes. If retiring URLs, use permanent redirects only for equivalent replacements, and return a genuine not-found response when no replacement serves the reader.
05
Compare platform fit and ongoing cost
Check the current plan directly, including agent quotas, hosting limits, custom domains and export or migration terms. An old quoted price should not be used as a current procurement decision.
Choose the platform around who will maintain content, how approvals work and which integrations are required. A homepage concept can clarify the proposed structure, but it is not a case study of customer outcomes.
