01
Define a credible website opportunity
Start with a service you can actually deliver and a reason a business might need it. A technology fingerprint or a new domain is a research clue; it does not establish budget, buying intent or permission to contact anyone.
StackScope describes website technology intelligence with browsing, data and integration options. Use its observations as leads for manual verification, not as evidence that a named business has a defective website.
02
Test the data before scaling requests
Inspect a small sample of public websites. Confirm the business identity, URL, observed technology and date. Mark uncertain matches explicitly rather than presenting inferred stacks as facts.
Check the current data page, plan quotas and licence before purchasing or exporting. The plan definitions can change, and rights to use a dataset are distinct from rights to redistribute it.
03
Use API or MCP with a limited scope
Follow the current API or MCP documentation for your account. Store credentials safely and set a request budget. Ask for only the fields and records needed to answer the research question.
Keep source and retrieval metadata with every record. If an agent enriches a result, distinguish the original observation from its inference. Review a sample for duplicates, stale records and misidentified businesses.
04
Turn an observation into a useful review
Open the website and inspect customer-facing problems: unclear service scope, missing proof, broken mobile contact actions or inaccessible important pages. Tie the proposed work to an actual customer decision.
A personalised review should explain a real finding without making unsupported claims about lost sales. Use an honest concept to demonstrate an alternative layout and label it clearly as a concept.
05
Decide whether contact is appropriate
Review any proposed outreach for relevance, account authority, recipient accuracy and applicable rules. Collecting a record does not authorise an agent to send a message. Keep that decision separate from data retrieval.
Track whether research yields qualified opportunities, not just a larger list. Stop or change the filter if the records are irrelevant; do not compensate by increasing automated message volume.
